Mr. William Wassum – Director
William "Bill" Wassum is a native of Huntington, West Virginia and has called Fredericksburg, Virginia home for over 20 years.
A public school orchestra teacher for 40+ years, William has poured his heart into creating and developing music programs throughout the United States, all while nurturing the abilities of his private students. He has been an active performer in various symphonies, orchestras, and chamber groups. William has also been a guest lecturer at ASTA (American String Teachers Association) conventions sharing his expertise with other professional fine arts educators nationwide.
Mr. Wassum has expanded his repertoire to include methodologies such as Suzuki, Rolland, Bornoff and Colourstrings, promoting a full spectrum of student development. Nurturing the love of music in others is his lifelong passion.
